Talking therapies

 

Q. Why are talking therapies important in helping people to overcome mindset challenges and mental health challenges?

A. Talking therapies set people free from emotional pain. Talking therapies are carried out in a way that it allows a person to release themselves from the emotional intensity of past pain, present worry and future anxiety. A number of  therapeutic models are used during talking therapies depending on the reason for support. 

Q. What will happen during a talking therapy session?

A. The discussion is focused around the challenges you bring and will draw on Gerard Egan's skilled helper model, attachment theory CBT, CAT and much more. During the session you will explore your challenges to help guide you to building actions step for you to take your power back over the challenge. You will be in control of the session and the focus of the session. 

 

Q. How do I know if this will work for me?

 

A. During the session a range of therapeutic interventions are used from CBT to Mindfulness techniques to trauma work to reframing to age regression to powerful goal setting and much more. Together these interventions make way for transformation that is long lasting. 

Q. What length of programme is best for me, should I go for 60 minutes or an intense programme?

A. The length of programme depends on your individual challenges. The more in depth the programme is the more healing and transformation that takes place. Some people like to start out with a 60 minute session to begin with to see how they feel about chatting. Others are ready to jump in with the intense programme and just know within that they are ready to go.

coaching programmes and packages

The talking therapy packages below can guide people through a self development journey building the key skills around emotional intelligence whilst improving mindset control and mental health.

When choosing a programme it is important to think of how much time, effort and energy you wish to invest. The longer the programme the better results. Some people may require a short programme and some may require a more detailed programme. You can chat to Brooke about the programme that is best for you at the time of engagement.

Basic and intense packages – the difference

 

Basic packages are simply the 1 hour session with no additional support out with the session or the 4 x 1 hour sessions for the 4 week programme with no support in between.

 

Intense packages have support in between sessions. When you are engaged with an intense package you will spend the last 5 minutes of your session putting together a 7 day plan. I will lead this based on what you have shared during your session and you will be involved in this. When you are working through your plan as you move through the week you can reach out for additional support i.e. catch up calls, texts, emails and so on. It may be that you have been working on the meditation we have set for example and you may come up against a challenge, you can when on an intense programme book a catch up call either voice call or video call at a time that suits us both.

 

Children and young people will have a plan put together and additional support without additional charge. They do not have to engage with this plan however, it is completely up to each individual. 

60 minute session

The 60 minute session can be booked as a one off or can be booked in on a weekly basis. You can book one to begin with or can book a block right away.
